The third project implemented by the “Sorintex” Association was again carried out with the support of the Moldova Representation of the “People in Need” Organization from the Czech Republic, offering a grant of 148,000 MDL, co-financed by the Soroca Vocational School under Moldcoop with the amount of 100,250 MDL.

The project was titled “Integrated Vocational Training System for Women.” As part of this project, a Center of Excellence and Training in the field of the light industry was created over five months, located within the Soroca Vocational School under Moldcoop.

The project implemented the following key actions:
– Signing a cooperation contract between the Soroca Vocational School under Moldcoop and the Center of Excellence and Training of the “Sorintex” Association to establish specific training systems for specialized personnel within the association’s member enterprises. The main goal is to stabilize the workforce, both for current employees and for those to be hired through the dual education system.
– Three training sessions/seminars were held, and three cooperation contracts were signed with partners from the northern region, in the field of dual education.
– Purchase of shared equipment needed to organize a practical training line for young seamstresses, equipped with modern, state-of-the-art machinery, installed within the Soroca Vocational School under Moldcoop. The equipment includes 17 automatic sewing machines, 3 overlock machines, 1 ironing table, and 1 automatic steam generator.
– Signing a tripartite contract between a garment enterprise (a member of the “Sorintex” Association), the Regional Center of Excellence and Training of the “Sorintex” Association, and the Soroca Employment Agency. The main areas stipulated in the contract are training, qualification, and requalification courses for the unemployed, and their integration into the labor market.
